Alberta Health Services has removed all public health restrictions for worship service gatherings starting July 1st, 2021.
As you know, it has been our practice throughout the pandemic to follow AHS restrictions as much as possible. It is with gladness that Council would like to inform you that starting with our July 4th worship service, all such restrictions at our church will be lifted. There will be no attendance limit, masks and social distancing will not be required. Congregational singing will be gladly encouraged. The online invitations will continue to be sent out weekly for the next few weeks to allow ushers and greeters and those preparing coffee to plan based on expected attendance. Please be aware that no supervised nursery or children’s worship will be available until the fall. Any children are welcome to join us in the sanctuary, and the nursery can be utilized by parents who wish to bring their children there during services, but without non-parental supervision.
We acknowledge that some among us may not be comfortable yet meeting without masks and social distancing. We wish to also make you welcome as we worship together. If you would like to attend worship but wish to have the opportunity to distance and mask, please notify the church office no later than Friday at noon so we can do our best to accommodate your requests. And for any that are not yet ready to consider in person attendance, live streaming will continue each week to allow you to connect with our church family online.
