Cov Hub
(formally known as Emerging Adults)
(formally known as Emerging Adults)
A ministry for those finding themselves in a life transition (school, career, etc)
As city dwellers we are familiar with the many transit hubs that are scattered about the city.
Observe a transit hub whether it be a bus, train or subway system, there is a hustle and bustle- people coming and going.
Students with bookbags full catching a ride to class, business people heading off to their next meeting, families with strollers headed for a trip downtown, elderly without a license headed to their kid’s home, homeless folks headed to the soup kitchen for a meal.
The transportation hub is a great allegory for those in transition in our church family- especially those labeled emerging adults.
As those individuals navigate life they are constantly transitioning- from school to work, from undergrad to graduate studies, from life at home to life on their own.
And the people in their lives are constantly changing as university roommates get married, jobs take lifelong friends to different cities or even countries and parents that were always home are all the sudden taking vacations without them.
And some of these changes come gradually like patiently waiting for your bus at the hub and some are quick and jarring like running to catch the last train out of town for the day.
At Cov Hub we strive to give those in transitions rest- a place to catch their breath as they continue to transition not only in life situations but in their faith journey.
This place of rest is a judgement free zone in which individuals can express their feelings and questions about the faith. And through the hustle and bustle Cov Hub serves as a directional conductor pointing those individuals to the destination of the One who gives true rest- Jesus: the author and perfecter of our faith.
Please join us at Cov Hub as we journey and transition together in our walks of life and faith.
