Alpha: CovYouth are embarking on a study called Alpha Youth this season and below you will see the upcoming schedule and the topics we'll be discussing. Alpha Youth is designed to take young people on a journey of faith over multiple weeks and each session covers a key element of the gospel in a way that is easy-to-follow and leaves space for people to explore their questions about life, faith and God. Sharing faith through Jesus is always relational and not just informational. This relational dimension of Alpha is what speaks loudest to a culture that suffers from increasing feelings of loneliness and social isolation, where the primary question is "Where do I belong?". Remember to pack a lunch to eat while we chat!
Alpha Weekend: Alpha Youth calls for a special time away to experience three sessions on the subject of the Holy Spirit. This will take place on January 3-4 at the Uitvlugt family cabin near Wabamun. Please mark your calendars, more details will be coming soon!
Ski Trip: The snow has come to stay and we will take full advantage by heading to the mountains February 28-March 2. This year we are going to Lake Louise as the hostel in Jasper was burned down in the summer fires. This trip includes bus transportation, lodging at Canmore Alpine Hostel, tubing at Mt. Norquay, mandatory lesson and Saturday lift ticket, and 5 meals Registration opens December 1 and ends January 15 BUT there are only 56 spots available so register quickly if you'd like to go! Cost is $350. There are pamphlets available at the Welcome Desk and the link to register is below.
